Intelligenesis Named #1 Top Workplace by Baltimore Sun

Angie Lienert set out to establish the kind of company that, as she puts it, “I would want to work for.”

Along the way she became the kind of business leader that others want to work for.

Lienert began her career as an Arabic linguist with the Air Force. After six years’ military service, she joined Booz Allen Hamilton for four years. After switching to BAE Systems in 2004, she struck out on her own in 2007, founding IntelliGenesis.

Four Stories of Putting Our People First

“It’s all about the people.”

It seems like every business claims to be “all about people.” Whether it’s a slogan on their website or something in their mission statement, lobby signage, or business cards, the “people” idea isn’t new. But here at IntelliGenesis, when we say it’s all about the people, me mean it. To combat this, many companies are responding by creating their own learning opportunities, which will in turn prepare staff – and the organization as a whole – for the labor market of tomorrow. But it’s not only about skills, it’s also about creating a culture of growth and training to aid in retention and engagement for the workforce as a whole.
