IntelliGenesis Appoints Dr. Peter B. Walker as Chief Innovation Officer

COLUMBIA, MD — January 14, 2026 — IntelliGenesis LLC, a provider of advanced AI/ML cybersecurity, training, and data-driven solutions, announced today that Dr. Peter B. Walker has joined the company as Chief Innovation Officer. 

Dr. Walker, a retired U.S. Navy Medical Service Corps Commander, brings more than 20 years of experience leading AI and R&D programs across the Department of Defense, including roles at the Defense Health Agency, Joint AI Center, and Office of Naval Research. At DHA, he served as Deputy Branch Chief for Science & Technology Portfolio Management and Program Director for SBIR/STTR programs, driving enterprise-wide AI adoption and modernization initiatives.

In his new role, Dr. Walker will lead IntelliGenesis’ strategic innovation portfolio, guiding AI/ML product development, dual-use technology acceleration, and advanced R&D strategy.
