IntelliGenesis LLC named WTOP Top Workplace 2026

WTOP News Names IntelliGenesis LLC® a Winner of the Greater Washington Area Top Workplaces 2026 Award

Veteran-Led, Woman-Owned AI/ML Cybersecurity Firm Recognized by Employees for 7th Consecutive Year

COLUMBIA, MD IntelliGenesis LLC, a provider of advanced AI/ML cybersecurity, training, and data-driven solutions, today announced it has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2026 honor by WTOP News. This marks the 7th consecutive year IntelliGenesis has been recognized under the program.

IntelliGenesis has been a fixture on Top Workplaces lists for more than a decade. The Greater Washington Area program, formerly published by The Washington Post and now by WTOP News, has recognized the company 10 times since 2016. IntelliGenesis has also earned Baltimore-area Top Workplaces honors every year since 2013 and was named to the national USA Today Top Workplaces list in 2023. Across these regional and national programs, the company has been recognized as a Top Workplace every year since 2013.

The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC. The confidential survey uniquely measures the employee experience and its component themes, including employees feeling Respected & Supported, Enabled to Grow, and Empowered to Execute, to name a few.

“This recognition belongs to our employees, entirely,” said Angie Lienert, President and CEO of IntelliGenesis. “The work we do supporting the defense and intelligence community is demanding, and the people who make it possible deserve a workplace that reflects how much we value them. Seeing our team consistently affirm year after year that we are getting that right is the most meaningful validation we could ask for, because it comes directly from them.”

“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That’s something to be proud of. In today’s market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That’s paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”
