Using Analytics to Help the Navy Improve Fleet Readiness

IntelliGenesis is working with the Navy to evaluate and improve the readiness of the fleet. By bringing our Big Data Analytics, Data Science, and Visualization expertise to their Technical, Organizational, and Behavioral Indicators (TOBI) data, we are helping improve the lethality of the Force. TOBI data measures various indicators of combat readiness and preparation for Navy vessels. IntelliGenesis automates the organization of this data, a process which previously required hundreds of hours of manual data entry per year and was extremely error prone. We provide a dashboard with custom visualizations, trend analysis, and alerting features to aid decision makers in evaluating the performance of the fleet. But we don’t stop at displaying the data. IntelliGenesis is continuing to work with the Navy to develop analytics that provide deeper insights. TOBI data is just one link in the chain of predicting counterproductive workplace behavior (CWB). Our analytics are contributing to making sailors more effective and efficient, and identifying potential problems before they happen.
